About Our Guardian Angels; This ethereal masterpiece invites viewers into a heavenly realm where three guardian angels watch over us with divine protection and love. Created through an innovative mixed media approach combining watercolor and colored tissue paper, this piece captures the otherworldly beauty and spiritual presence of our celestial protectors.

The delicate layering of colored tissue paper with flowing watercolor washes creates a dreamlike quality that perfectly embodies the mysterious and comforting presence of guardian angels. The soft, blended colors seem to shift and move, suggesting the gentle movement of angelic wings and the divine light that surrounds these protective spirits.

Looking closely into the composition, three distinct angelic forms emerge from the beautiful color harmonies, each offering their own unique energy of guidance and protection. The technique allows the angels to appear both present and transcendent, visible yet mystical - exactly as guardian angels exist in our lives.

The tree on the Santa Paula Society of the Arts is over 145 years old as of 2025. It is located at the corner of 10th and Santa Barbara streets and is a Morton Bay fig tree in Santa Paula.
