Driving weekly to attend art classes at Palm Desert Community Collage on Interstate 10, from Blythe to Palm Desert, California are the Santa Rosa Mountains and the San Jacinto Mountains. It is from these mountain ranges that Clarissa would sketch the tops of these mountains to create something moving. Look deeply at "Stampede I," what do you see?

What the artists paints last, you see first. Do you see Horses? This piece was entered in the Colorado River Country Fair, category: Animals 1st Place.

Even tho the Colorado Desert is quite hot in the summer, it is the late fall, winter and spring that are incredible to explore.
