This brightly colored cow had a real Holstein Cow Model, seriously, those are the real patterns on a real Holstein Cow! Can you believe how many cow pictures we had to take to get the perfect pattern for this painting? As we drove up and down Interstate 5, in California, we would start to see a lot of dairy farms starting just North of Sacramento, California. I would say, we have over a 100 pictures before we we're satisfied with just the perfect markings for our painting!
So this cow is giving advice to the World, hence the title ©"Moo Cow Advice!" She is saying; "The Grass is Not Always Greener on the Other Side!" Moo Cow is the cow version of Buddha! Around the outside of the white area, it says; Think Moo!
We've made a lot of these @"Moo Cow Advice," piece's over the years, as people from church and the kids at schools would come by our home and beg us for one of these cow painting's and bring us something yummy. One time one of these people wanted to trade a parakeet, I said no thank you, as little critters always liked to bite me. They got really mad at me and I didn't make them a painting!
Like I said in an earlier painting, we moved around California a lot with my husbands Fire Career and in each town there were at least three individuals who received one of these originals. So, there are a lot of originals of, ©"Moo Cow Advice," mooing around out there! We don't remember the names of everyone! Each piece has a special stamp on the back, so as to protect the collectors from fake ones.
