| Lay hold of something that will help you, and then use it to help somebody else. -Booker T. Washington |
As artist's both Clarissa and Vanessa love to teach the fine arts to anyone. We find the experience of teaching art at the Children's Hospitals a very rewarding experience. The watercolors are bright and beautiful and can make everyone feel good. It is our personal goal to teach art to as many Children's Hospitals as possible through out the United States. We truly feel that art is very healing. “Courage, it would seem, is nothing less than the power to overcome danger, misfortune, fear, and injustice, while continuing to affirm inwardly that life with all its sorrows is good; that everything is meaningful even if in a sense beyond our understanding; and that there is always tomorrow. Art is a really special experience and can lift the spirits of everyone who creates their own masterpiece. On our volunteer visit to teach art at the Seattle Children’s Hospital, Hayley had a lot of fun painting with watercolors, black pen and gold leaf. Even mom and grandma had fun painting. | |
